- Channel IDs of activated channels, stored locally to enable Bot functionality.
- Server IDs and names for servers where the Bot is active.
- Matrix Data:
- Matrix user IDs (e.g., @cocam123:tchncs.de) and message content in rooms where the Bot is invited.
- Room IDs for Matrix rooms.
- Third-Party API Data:
- Search queries sent to SerpApi (e.g., weather, YouTube, or flight searches)
- Responses received from these services.
- Logs: We may log user IDs, message content, and channel IDs for debugging purposes.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide Bot functionality, such as responding to commands (e.g., weather forecasts, YouTube video searches, flight information) and generating AI responses.
- Store channel IDs to remember which Discord channels are activated for Bot responses.
- Process slash commands (/activate, /deactivate) to manage Bot settings.
- Send search queries to third-party services (SerpApi for searches) to fulfill your requests.
- Log data temporarily for debugging and improving the Bot’s performance.
We do not use your data for marketing or unrelated purposes.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We share your data with the following third parties to provide Bot functionality:

4. Data Storage and Security
- Storage: We store Discord channel IDs in a local file (activatedChannels.json) on our server to track activated channels. Logs containing user IDs, message content, and channel IDs are stored temporarily in server logs for debugging.
- Retention: Channel IDs are stored until you deactivate the Bot in a channel using /deactivate. Logs are typically deleted upon server restart or as configured by our hosting provider.
- Security: We use reasonable measures to protect your data, such as securing our server and restricting access to our hosting environment. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you use the Bot on Matrix, messages are processed via the Matrix protocol, and data is stored according to the Matrix homeserver’s policies (Matrix Privacy Policy).
5. User Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the data we hold about you (e.g., channel IDs).
- Request deletion of your data (e.g., removing a channel ID from our records).
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
